This week we explore the ancient heresy Gnosticism. The Gnostics believed that spiritual things were inherently good and physical things were inherently bad. This means that Jesus only appeared to be human since he could not actually become something that is inherently bad. Additionally, the Gnostics believe they have received a special divine revelation that reveals the truth path to salvation outside of sculpture. We explore Gnosticism and how these beliefs are still present today in our own world.
