Hi, I’m Leah!
I love dogs, chocolate, tacos, and Jesus.
I’m a writer, podcaster, and speaker for Jesus.
I desire to foster discipleship & evangelism through apologetics and biblical theology.
I believe that everyone has questions about faith. I believe those questions are valid and that the questioner is deeply loved by God.

…The underlying theological issue for the post pictured here is that we have messed things up so much that God might leave us. There is fear that if we don’t repent, God will abandon us. To be sure, God hates sin. I believe injustice breaks God’s heart. When we sin, we should repent and allow God to transform our hearts. But God also loves people. The reason Jesus sacrificed himself was to allow sinful people to be in relationship with God…

This week's episode talks about what happens after death. One of things all people face is judgment before God (Rev 20:11-15). However, believers are not judged for their sins; the blood of Christ has already paid for and accounted for the sins of believers. Instead believers are judged for the way they used the life that God has given them…
The Star Wars films have always been special to me. I remember when I was younger, my father would push our couch to the center of the living room where we could fully experience the surround sound. At our home, Star Wars was an experience. I was skeptical when the Sequel Trilogy was announced, but The Force Awakens did not disappoint. In these new films, we were introduced to some incredible new characters: Poe – the hotshot pilot, Finn – a former stormtrooper who decides that he’s better than the man he was trained to be, Rey – the lost scavenger who’s just trying to find out who she is, and Kylo Ren – the new villain. He immediately captures the audience’s attention. It wasn’t long before we learned his identity. He is Ben Solo, the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia…
What is Apologetics?
The term “apologetic” come from the Greek word apologia. You can find it in 1 Peter 3:15-16. It means “defense” as in a court case. I like to think about apologetics as asking and answering the tough questions of the faith. It’s not defensive; it enriches faith.
What is Evangelism?
Evangelism is the call of every Christian. In Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8 Jesus encourages his followers to tell the whole world about what he did. Evangelism is communicating the Gospel to those who have received Christ’s saving gift.
What is Discipleship?
Discipleship is the lifelong journey of following Jesus. In Matthew 28:20 Jesus says to teach those who accept the Gospel to follow Jesus’s teaching. This is discipleship.
